Lucius is a respectable man in the social elite of the wizarding world whilst also being part of the Death Eaters. He was a pretty important guy in the last war, part of the inner circle of followers, and essentially Voldermort’s right hand guy. He had a flair for leadership so I imagine he’d know all the Death Eaters from then. After the war Lucius managed to convince important people that he was acting under the Imperius Curse, and unaware of his actions during the war, so he managed to keep out of Azkaban.

When Voldemort came back Lucius answered the call, and in no time was back to being in the inner circle and living the high life as a proud Death Eater. It wasn't quite so easy though. He might have wormed his slippery way around the Dark Lord, but the others wouldn't forgive so easily, and Lucius still faces questions on his 'courage' and 'loyalty' from his colleagues.

In recent months, during which the Ministry fell to the Death Eaters, Lucius was appointed as Minister of Magic by the Dark Lord, a job he'd wanted for a long time. For the moment he's still in the honeymoon period, and enjoying his new title and role, thinking it's a privilege that the Dark Lord has trusted him to take charge with the Ministry. He'll soon realise just how unimportant his own opinions are, and how much of a puppet for the Dark Lord he really is.

FRIENDS
Lucius only associates with those he deems as worthy of his time or useful, mainly Death Eaters and other hardcore pureblood families and people. Lucius is from a social family, so he has a lot of acquaintances but his closest friends [of who I don’t imagine there are many] are fellow Death Eaters.

ENEMIES
Lucius is a bit like marmite. You either love him, or hate him. If you don’t fit in to the description above, then you’ll fall under this category. Any Order members, blood traitors, mudbloods, muggles, undesirables, magical beasts or creatures, then chances are Lucius hates you and thinks you’re inferior. He’s also pretty competitive and determined, so if you’ve ever bested him in anything then he probably dislikes you as well.

OTHER
Family is the most important thing to Lucius, Narcissa, Draco and Tegan are his world and as such he only has eyes for Narcissa, so no ladyfriends. In terms of young people, if you’re friends with his kids then he probably likes you [unless you're unacceptable ofc]. If you’re not in Slytherin then he definitely dislikes you. I’m hoping you’ve got the gist right now, things are quite black and white to Lucius on this front.

Pretty much hardcore dislike on both counts? Noel's pureblood and a former Slytherin, but he joined the Order mostly because he didn't want to follow his father into the Death Eaters. However, he's also smart enough to treat Lucius with respect since he'd like to keep his job as an Auror. I'm thinking he'd be polite and respectful towards the Minister when he's at work since he's that way with everyone he works with, but outside of work they wouldn't get along at all and I doubt they'd even associate with each other. +/-?

Noel and Lucius

Reckon you're right on that front! Lucius wouldn't have much time for Noel being as he doesn't fully support the Dark Lord, and if Noel's too vocal then I can imagine Lucius trying to make things very difficult for him and his family.

Could maybe do a thread where Noel is briefing Lucius on something? Like an event that Noel was on security for? Or the situation on someone that they're trying to catch? [Not sure how high up you want Noel to be in the Auror office!] I think that little meeting could get interesting, if you're up for it at some point?

Noel's not that far up in the office since he's only 25 but the thread would be interesting if he does security for something, or they catch each other in the elevator after work. He's very professional when at work especially, but outside of his job he's more laid-back so either would work.
