Over a thousand years ago, the four greatest witches and wizards of the age shared a dream, to create a school where young people of the wizarding world could study and be trained in the magical arts they needed to become skilled, fully-trained wizards. These four great wizards each founded one of the Houses of the school that they worked together to form: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Now even after several years of peace within the walls of Hogwarts, a huge row between Gryffindors and Slytherins has sprouted between the two. Even the Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs are experiences a bit of trouble among their respectful members. Although no one has been seriously injured, the Professors feel that if they do not put a stop to the fights now, that they may witness the birth of another Wizarding War.
The Founders’ Challenge was created by the Hogwarts Staff and is considered to be the best solution for the immature rifts between the four houses. The professors seen this Challenge as a befitting way to help repair the semi-extensive amount of damage that each house has already caused to one another as well as a way to help ease the tension that has been looming over Hogwarts since the Wizarding War twenty some odd years ago.
However, none of the students are not too keen on making nice and strengthening the extremely weaken bonds that were once unbreakable. Oh no, the students want absolutely nothing to do with one another on that large of a scale; especially the elite members of Slytherin and Gryffindor. But they will soon enough see that their Hogwarts Professors are not taking ‘No’ for an answer.
Two champions from each of the four houses; one male and one female; will be chosen at random to be resorted by the Sorting Hat and placed into the second choice house, but the sorting will not base on family status; blood status; or personality. All are expected to follow and live up to the regulations and expectations imposed upon them by their new house and housemates for two months. These Champions will be eating, housing, taking lessons, studying, playing, and earning/losing house points for their new house.
After their two months are up, the Champions will be returned to their original house. However, from there they will have to nominate two more members of their original house as the new Champions. These new Champions will undergo the same proceedure as their peers before them.
Who will be the First Chosen Pairs of Champions? Which of these Champions will survive their two month trials without losing their true beliefs? Which of these Champions will crack under pressure and come out this Challenge with a whole new sense of beliefs; whether they be for the best or for the worst?
Are you prepared for: The Founders' Challenge?
