play by: Julianne Moore
features: Enid is pale, with some very faint freckles over her body and a small trail of them across her nose. She has reddish hair, which is usually a deep red but lightens during the summer, and dark brown eyes, which are wide and always seem knowing. Her face is quite long but she has a strong jawline and pointed chin.
build: Enid is quite tall, standing at 5"11, so she towers above a lot of women. It does give her quite a presence, and makes her seem a little mysterious. She has quite a curvy body, but isn't considered overweight. She is a healthy size, perhaps towards the middle section of healthy, and she has long limbs.
distinctions: Freckles, which can be seen very faintly on her face and her shoulders.
style: Enid has a rather casual approach to fashion, more so than her husband, but is always clean. She enjoys wearing light fabrics, such as chiffon, silk or cotton, rather than heavy material like velvet or wool. As such, she is often seen in rather soft, floating dresses or skirts. However, she is not averse to wearing something a little more sexy and revealing for her husband, and also wouldn't say no to simple jeans and a t-shirt if she is busy cooking and baking.

adores:
- Her family- Enid adores her husband and her son more than life itself and would do absolutely anything for them. Especially after the loss of her first child, she considers Stephen to be the centre of her world and is a lot more lenient with him than her husband is.
- The mysterious/Divination- Although she doesn't believe in everything it says, Enid is from a family of Seers and so is in tune with the mysterious and supernatural. She didn't like Divination at school but she was naturally gifted at
- Long, hot baths- Enid likes to be in water, a trait which was emphasised when she moved to live with Malcolm at the lighthouse. She enjoys taking long baths with her favourite potions and relaxing.
- Cooking/Baking- Although Malcolm tells her to let the house elves cook, Enid loves to do it herself. She likes finding recipes and creating her own, experimenting with food to please her husband and son. She knows that Malcolm secretly enjoys her cooking and is more than happy to continue putting up with his front if her cooking makes him happy.
- Socialising- Not necessarily parties and big gatherings, but Enid likes to be with people. She is usually the quiet one and doesn't often say much, or give her opinion, but she enjoys having people around her regardless.
abhors:
- Rigidity- Enid dislikes people who are entirely set in their ways. Even though she married Malcolm, who is very stubborn and closed minded, he is one of the rare few with this trait that she will put up with.
- Being interrupted- As she takes a special interest in the mysterious world, Enid dislikes interruptions. She prefers to have her own time for things and doesn't like it if people try to talk to her when she is in the middle of concentration or meditation.
- Loud noises- Enid is a very quiet woman and will rarely shout or raise her voice. She dislikes loud noises and enjoys the soothing sound of the seat outside, so isn't a fan of the city. She can just about manage Diagon Alley but doesn't like to be in noisy places very long.
- Thinking that her husband is in danger- Even though she supports the Death Eaters, Enid knows it puts her husband in potential danger and she is worried for him. However, she is more relaxed since Potter's death.
weakness:
- Physically weak- Enid doesn't do much fighting at all and she is very diplomatic, but this means that she can't really hold herself in a fight, either magical or physical.
- Irritatingly thoughtful- Enid over thinks virtually everything and sometimes even questions the pureblood doctrine, but this extreme is usually only when she's been under the heavy influence of her 'recreational potions' for a long time.
- Lacks charisma- Because she is calm, quiet and reserved, Enid lacks that charismatic presence that a lot of women have, though she has her own mysterious kind. She doesn't like to be the centre of attention or command attention like others do and prefers to linger somewhere between the spotlight and the wallflower.
strength:
- Intelligent- Enid is an extraordinarily clever woman. She is knowledgeable about a lot of subject areas, from the magical to the mundane. She has an exceptional talent for natural magic and is skilled at herbology.
- Perceptive- Enid is a 'watcher' and a 'listener' and has been all her life. As such, she is an extremely perceptive witch and can understand people very well. She knows the right thing to say in the right situations and she can read people, though in a different way to mind reading, since she perceives their thoughts and feelings from body language and from her own mysterious abilities.
- Calm- Enid is one of those people whose very presence calms those around them. Perhaps not the Dark Lord, or Bellatrix Lestrange, but she can calm an awful lot of people in an awful lot of situations. She has a soothing aura about her and, since she is quiet, her voice tends to have a kind of lullaby quality.
boggart:
- Death of her family- self explanitory
- Being dismissed as a lunatic- She understands that not everyone believes in prophecies and the supernatural and she is worried that one day she will be seen as purely being crazy and that people won't believe her. She already knows that she is possibly discredited by her use of 'recreational potions' which are like drugs to her and enhance her ability as a Seer, but some see them as hallucinations.
- The pureblood regime falling- Not necessarily because of the doctrine, since she isn't as extreme as some about it, but because it would mean that her closest family and friends would be at risk of being sent to Azkaban.
amortentia:
- Tobacco
- Calla Lily flowers
- Dragon's blood
mirror of erised: To have a calm, peaceful life
veritaserum: She wants another baby, though it is a little too late for that
patronus: Dog: Border Collie, When she married Malcolm or when she had Stephen
dementor: When she gave birth to a stillborn baby
overview: Enid is a calm, quiet and perceptive woman. She is the type to stand at the sidelines and watch the action rather than taking part, and this is out of choice rather than skill, since she is naturally very mysterious. She is from a family of Seers and so has the ability to perceive things in people that they cannot, though this is not necessarily a straight forward prediction of the future. Her natural talents make her an excellent person to talk to, especially when you need the solution to a problem, and she is incredibly kind for someone who supports the Death Eaters. This is perhaps to do with the fact that she values family above all else and adores her family. She likes company though she doesn't like to talk much, or to be the centre of attention. All of this make Enid a very mysterious woman but she is secretly quite the daredevil, creating and taking 'recreational potions'- which are essentially drugs for wizards- which help enhance her divination.
However, Enid can therefore seem quiet and aloof at times and her lack of opinion may irritate some people. She is also physically very weak which means that she can't handle herself in a fist fight, nor would she have the prowess to win in a magical duel. Her way of negotiating democratically is not always easy and can make her appear annoying. She is also rather plain and boring (personality wise) in comparison to some of her friends since she doesn't like to talk a lot, which excludes her from conversations.

mother: Hecuba Marie (MacArthur) Finley
father: Patrick Prias Finley
siblings: Cameron Finley (brother)- d. 1991, magical accident
extended: Malcolm Cornfoot- husband; Stephen Cornfoot- son; Jonathon Cornfoot- Brother in law; Duncan Cornfoot- Father in law
monetary: Rich
overview: Like many wealthy, pureblood families, the Finleys and MacArthurs were blood purists. They believed that this was the most integral part of the magical world, keeping wizarding blood exclusive. As such, they tended to turn towards the Dark Arts and the leading wizards who practised them. Patrick Finley supported the dark wizard Grindelwald, and his wife, Hecuba, who preferred to be known as Marie, also supported him. When they had their children, a boy named Cameron and a girl named Enid, these children were also taught the importance of blood purity.
Another trait ran through the MacArthur family though- the power of the Seers. Mainly women in the MacArthur line were powerful Seers and Prophetesses. The skill skipped some generations but was incredibly strong in others. Marie was one of these women and she passed this talent to her daughter, Enid. Although she didn't know that Enid was a Seer, she decided to treat her as one from birth and taught her everything she needed to know about Divination and the supernatural. Luckily, Enid did possess the skill required to be a Seer and her talents flourished.
Enid had a happy, contented childhood, with plenty of money and attention from her parents. Although she was not another boy, her parents were already content with one male as he was a strong child and continued to be physically strong and healthy as he grew older. Enid looked up to her brother, but she was very different to him. Whilst Cameron was sporty and active, Enid was a lot quieter and took more pleasure in books and music than in Quidditch. Her parents didn't seem bothered by this though, as she grew older, her father tried to encourage her to stop being so studious as it would damage her prospects of finding a husband.
At the age of 11, Enid attended Hogwarts and was sorted into Ravenclaw house. She made many friends and was the kind, quiet girl in the group so she was unknowingly popular with those in her house and in others. However, some picked on her, including her future husband, Malcolm Cornfoot, and his best friend Lucius Malfoy. Narcissa Black, Lucius' girlfriend, was initially quite derogatory about Enid, but soon grew to like the fact that the girl was perceptive and intelligent, as Narcissa began to see intelligence as equally important as beauty.
In school, Enid did extremely well in Herbology, which she enjoyed as she was a very talented witch in terms of natural magic. She enjoyed working with plants and, though she wasn't the top in potions class, she did do well in it. She would have done better had she not decided that following the instructions was boring and she would rather add her own quantities and ingredients instead. Professor Slughorn despaired of her but she did create some rather unusual concoctions of her own that he was proud of her for.
Towards the end of her school days, she grew closer to Malcolm, who had stopped being such a fool and had begun to be nicer towards her. They patched up their differences, began to date and eventually they were married. She knew he was a Death Eater by this time and was hesitant but put her reservations aside to marry him, since she was supportive of blood purity. They tried for children and she eventually found herself pregnant but gave birth to a stillborn son 8 months later. She was horrified by this and grieved for a long time before she gave birth to another child, this time healthy, a boy who she named Stephen. Though she wanted more children after this, she was still traumatised by the ordeal of her first birth and decided against having more.
Enid has always been worried about Malcolm's membership in the Death Eaters, especially when the Dark Lord first fell, but since she knows he is quiet about it she is less worried than some of the wives. She agrees that what he is doing is right but does think that sometimes he goes too far. When Potter died, Enid didn't feel much emotion, not as strong as others anyway, but she was happy that this meant the growth of an ideal pureblood society. She continues to support her husband in his work at the Ministry and is proud of her son, who was sorted into Ravenclaw at school and is doing well socially and academically.

sample: As Tegan in the Malfoy's New Years' Party
How could Tegan find only one great thing about parties? There wasn't just a single, incredible aspect. She enjoyed socialising, she enjoyed the make up and clothes, she enjoyed the drinks, she enjoyed the entertainment. Of course, this only really related to these kinds of parties- her mother's tea parties made her wish she was at the bottom of the black lake and being attacked by the giant squid. Besides, there was the promise of fireworks and Stephen at this New Years' party and so Tegan was game.
She had spent the whole day sorting out her appearance. Ever since she'd been at home, she'd spent plenty of time with her family, she decided, and so was convinced that today she could have as much time away from them as she needed. Although her mother took her out to have her hair done, Tegan returned and cooped herself up in her bedroom. She had spent hours deciding which dress to wear and was torn. Her mother wanted a skin hugging, slender number in purple; her father had suggested emerald. Both of the dresses were lovely but there was one opinion that mattered to her tonight.
For a long time, the girl had been debating admitting her feelings to Stephen Cornfoot. He was her best friend and had been for her whole life, virtually. It was only recently she'd realised she'd fallen in love with him but she was head over heels. This was no schoolgirl crush. She was in love with the Ravenclaw boy and she couldn't deny it any longer. Throughout her hour and a half long hot bath, where she'd used about a million different lotions and potions to make her soft and sweet smelling. Part of it was just to irritate Draco, who'd have to use the bathroom after her, and would hopefully end up smelling like flowers and girl.
As she sat at her dressing table, she wondered how she could go about this. Would she even go through with it? How did she know that he actually liked her back? All these thoughts were running through her mind when she noticed the time. She was already late and she could hear Draco moving around outside and so, with a heavy sigh, she made a decision and made herself ready. This had to work. She hoped it would work- it would be most embarrassing if it didn't.
Ten minutes later, Tegan descended the stairs slowly, her ice white heels clicking on the stone steps as she walked. She made sure that they knew she was on her way, she liked to make an entrance. A moment later, she was gliding into the living area, a small smirk on her rosy pink lips and her eyebrow cocked. "Well?" she asked, as though she'd already asked them a million times how she looked. She indicated down to the dress she had chosen: elegant, slightly glittery and, with her decision made, blue.
