Ginny had been avoiding most of her friends so far during the year, but it was for good reason. She didn’t want them to know about her plans, because if they knew she was sure one of them would let it slip and most likely it’d be her brother. She had been sneaking off to the Room of Requirement quite often now, carefully walking the halls as she paid attention to who was around so that she could carefully escape to the room that one could easily hide in. Her plans seemed to be going quite well as some of the Death Eaters of the school were now starting to believes she was on their side, unfortunately she knew that it was beginning to annoy her friends and family as none of them knew that the truth was she was only pretending. But unfortunately that meant being a bit more cold towards her close friends and family.
Sighing softly the young red head was walking the hall of the seventh floor corridor just as she was about to reach the Room of Requirement, that was so quietly hidden, she heard soft footsteps close by her. So instead she passed right on by the Room of Requirement, waiting to see who else had decided to take a stroll of the seventh floor corridor. She just hoped that whoever it was, wouldn’t realize where she was actually headed, but then again few knew of the Room of Requirement and she had passed right on by it so they would most likely guess that she was just headed to perhaps one of the classrooms.

Luna Lovegood was enjoying a nice stroll through the castle, skipping about the halls and humming a tune to herself when she caught sight of a familiar mop of red hair. It undoubtedly belonged to her best friend, Ginny Weasley, and she wondered for a moment what she would be doing up here. She’d heard rumor of a secret room up here and wondered if perhaps that wasn’t where she was headed. Why, however, her best friend would be seeking out this secret room was beyond Luna but she thought it was a pretty good explanation for her friend’s visit to the seventh floor.
Then again, some could argue why Luna herself was there, but it was just something she enjoyed, roaming the halls of various levels, going wherever the shifting staircase took her. She’d eventually find her way back to Ravenclaw tower, but oftentimes she liked to just roam during the time before curfew and after classes. Still skipping along, she spoke “Hello Ginny” in her usual serene tone, letting her voice echo through the empty hall as she tried to catch up with her friend.
“What a pleasant surprise seeing you here. Are you enjoying a stroll like me?” She asked when she was finally alongside her friend who had been distant as of late. She was content to ignore this fact, however, and talk to her like she always had. When a moment passed in silence, she looked seriously to her best friend and said “What’s the matter? Wrackspurt got your tongue?”

Ginny heard her name being called out from behind her from perhaps one of the most familiar voices she would ever hear in her life, aside from family members that is. And then soon Luna Lovegood was by her side walking, well thank goodness she didn’t disappear into the room of requirement as she had no idea how she could explain that to Luna.
“Why yes I’m taking a stroll you could say. Trying to think of a letter to write to mum, she tends to worry about me a bit too much…
” she said lightly. It wasn’t a total lie, she had been meaning to write to her mum she just didn’t know what to say. She was pretty sure her mum would never agree too hey mum, how’s it going. I’m just working on pretending to be a death eater… yeah her mum would definitely not be happy about that and would go on and on about how she’s too young to worry about these kinds of things. But Ginny thought she was never too young. “ And what in the world is a Wrackspurt?” she questioned Luna, which she would soon regret knowing that from past experiences when it came to the strange animals that Luna talked about. “You have a good mother.” Was all Luna said in response when she said that her mother was worrying. Mrs. Weasley was exactly what Luna thought everyone should want in a mother. She seemed to care very deeply for her children, and was infinitely protective of them. It made Luna think of her own mother, who had the same qualities despite being so very different from Mrs. Weasley. “Good mothers tend to worry.” She added with a nod to her head.
When Ginny asked what a wrackspurt was, Luna’s already wide eyes grew wider and she turned to her friend with an utterly shocked expression. “A wrackspurt? It’s a completely troublesome little creature. Harmless really, but troublesome.” She nodded to herself, as if reassuring herself of that fact. “They go in your ear and make your head all fuzzy. It can be terribly burdensome.” Her voice was dreamy and serene as usual as she continued to look forward, walking along the seventh floor with her best friend.
She considered asking her if she was looking for the hidden room, but she decided against it. She wasn’t naïve enough to think that Ginny would tell her the truth anyways, odd as she had been acting. In fact, she was almost positive that her friend would tell her a lie. Perhaps she had a case of…what were those things called? Well, whatever they were called, Luna was sure Ginny had a bad case of them. She knew that her friend would only try to hide whatever it was that was on her mind, so she just started humming a tune and looking forward.
“It seems we never speak anymore, Ginny.” She said it with no questioning air, just a statement. “I wonder why that is.” Again it was just another statement, no question in her tone, though she wouldn’t have minded an answer to her unasked question. She looked to Ginny then, head inclined ever so slightly and awaited her next move.
